 ay Ball in New Zealand in 1976\, is a beloved comic strip and cultural i
 con that depicts farm life through the humorous lens of Wal and his loya
 l dog. Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026\, it has resonated with 
 both rural and urban audiences for decades\, reflecting everyday life wi
 th warmth and wit. It also marks 40 years since the movie and nine years
  since Ball's passing.\n\n\n\nThis exhibition features the extensive Foo
 trot Flats collection of Peter Phipps\, his wife\, and family\, who have
  been passionate fans for over 45 years. With over 2\,000 items\, includ
 ing rare signed books\, original artwork\, comic strips\, more than sixt
 y hand-painted movie cels\, the collection also showcases everyday objec
 ts like packaging\, clothing\, and stationery\, highlighting the comicâ€
