Thereโ€™s more to the vista than we think – a visual journey through the landscape and the figure

This exhibition is on the figure in and of the landscape as interpreted by two Tasmanian artists, Lucy Lachowicz and Julian Greer.
Initially meeting through a shared passion for life drawing, Lucy Lachowicz and Julian Greer often work together in plein air, and in their studios with a life model. The merging of these two aspects has been the genesis of this exhibition.
The artists both have different interpretations and perspectives on the landscape and the figure, blurring the lines between what is figurative and what is indeed landscape. The interpretation of the organic forms become both personal and a conversation between the artists and ultimately with the viewer.
This is an invitation to look at the landscape and the figure in a different manner.
