Remember when imaginary friends were real, insects were huge, and everything spoke?
This joyfully playful installation invites us back to the carefree wonder of childhood outdoors — carried by flights of fancy, where insects anthropomorphise and anything is possible.
Visitors are invited to sit on a park bench and remember the ease and wonder of their own “secret place of wild strawberries,” that private landscape of imagination, freedom, and quiet joy.
With a flat, mural-like style, the painted works embrace simplified form and a sense of ungroundedness.
This is a folly. A small offering. A place to be young again.
