About
Off Centre is a collective of 11 Tasmanian artists, primarily functional and sculptural ceramicists, and one jeweller.
It was established in 1999, and is a unique outlet for its members, offering the opportunity to sell direct to the public, within the vibrant Arts Centre directly off Salamanca Place, rather than in each member’s home studio.
The gallery showcases a variety of both wheel thrown and handbuilt functional work as well as sculptural pieces.
Off Centre offers a regularly updated display of unique works together with a Microgallery supporting the work of local emerging artists.
